Pebble Collar with Half Pebbles
This striking Neckpiece is constructed from 16 Half Pebbles and Sterling Silver.
These Pebbles were collected at Blue Anchor Bay in Somerset in the UK.
Each Pebbles was cut in half, a hole drilled into its top and and another drilled in from the side so they meet inside the pebble. Using the sandcasting process, liquid silver was poured into the pebble through the top hole, exiting the pebble through the side hole and thus creating a permanent link. The exit holes show up as small circles on the backside of the Necklace.
Each Pebble with silver post measures approximately 28 x 22 x 11 mm
The entire Necklace is 450 mm long.
