A piece of stone is always part of a larger whole, torn from its source. I want to
retain and enhance this relationship.
Nothing can exist in isolation from its
environment without losing all meaning.
Jewellery is intended to work with the body. If it is not worn it is out of context.
By working it into a larger wallpiece, I give it a context when it is not worn.
The shape of the piece relates to its
surroundings and bears the marks and traces
